Divine Liturgy: Tuesday, July 7, 2009Noon St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic ChurchBOARDMAN – The Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held at noon on Tuesday, July7 at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 1898 Wilson Ave. in Youngstownwith Father Frank Firko Celebrating for Lucy (Kramer) Uhlar, 84, who passedaway Saturday morning, July 4. Lucy was born March 24, 1925, in Williamsburg,Pa., the daughter of Joseph and Ann (Homsey) Kramer. Lucy worked at A & PFood Chain and was “Rosie the Riveter” with General Fireproofing during the war.She was a member of the church and was a tremendous baker. Lucy will alwaysbe loved and remembered by her husband of 63 years, Stephen Uhlar, whom shemarried on May 25, 1946; her daughter, Susan Patella of Boardman; a son, StephenUhlar Jr. of Youngstown; and two sisters, Nancy Sernulka of Cortland and Judy Pavisof Liberty Township. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson,Robert D. Patella Jr.; son-in-law, Robert D. “Bob” Patella Sr.; five sister, AnnBistarkey, Elizabeth Sylvester, Helen Hritz, Elsie Antonoff, and Mary Evans;and two brothers, Frank and Joseph Jr. Kramer. There are no calling hours.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Rossi Brothers &Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
