Marlene M.  Russo
Marlene M. Russo, 64, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2018, with her loving family by her side. She was born July 18, 1953, in Youngstown, the daughter of Jack and Helen(Kaminski) Miller. Marlene was a 1972 graduate of Poland High School and worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown in Hospitality Care for 30 years. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and cross-stitching, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her home was always open to everyone. She will always be remembered lovingly by her husband, Vincent Russo, whom she married March 24, 1973; four children, Vincent T. Russo, Timothy (Christy) Russo, Michael Russo, and Katie (Ryan) Wetzel all of Poland; 12 grandchildren with a baby grandson due this June; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Jackie (Ed) Ostavitz of Florida, and Nita Marsico of Poland; three brothers, Bob Thomas, Pat Thomas, and Ron Miller; and her beloved dog "Reese." Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Juanita Miller; two sisters, Patricia Hunsbarger and Laura Saucedo; brother, Tom Thomas; and granddaughter, Alexis Russo. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman, followed by a 5 p.m. prayer service.
