Antoinette Diana, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Aug. 18, 1926, in Akron, the daughter of Nicholas and Tommasina (Nanni) Carrino. Antoinette was a graduate of South High School and Youngstown University. She worked for 25 years in the Youngstown and Struthers School Systems as a first grade teacher. She was a member of St. Dominic Church. Her husband, Angelo J. Diana whom she married June 18, 1949, passed away November 26, 2014. She will always be remembered lovingly by her four children, Nancy (Edward) Miller of Daytona Beach, FL, Janet (Richard) Sympson of Houston, Ronald Diana of Youngstown, and James Diana of Austintown; four grandchildren, Amy (Mark) Mitchell, Angelina, Lyndsey, and Ryan; three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Makenzie, and Charles; great-great-granddaughter, Lydia; and brother, Alfred Carrino; two brothers-in-law, Patsy Diana, and Nunzio Galletta; and sister-in-law, Theresa Cortell. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Albert Carrino; and sister, Angeline Galletta. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11 at St. Dominic Church, 77 E. Lucius Ave. in Youngstown.
