Francisco V. Morales, 87, passed away peacefully on Sun. Oct. 22, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Oct. 2, 1930, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, the son of Manuel and Bacilisa (Matos) Ortiz. Francisco courageously served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube. He enjoyed playing pool, gardening, and cooking. Francisco was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. He will always be remembered lovingly by two step-daughters, Theresa Thomas and Danyell Stewart; step-grandchildren, Mark, Michael, Deavon, Dante, Damien, De'Shawn and Daylen; and other living and deceased family members. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wed. Oct. 25, 2017, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman, followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service.
