Doris C. Anderson, 76
MINERAL RIDGE - There will be funeral services at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman for Doris C. Anderson, 76, who passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Scarbro, W.Va., the daughter of Philip and Oneta “Alice” (Ramsey) Douglass.
Doris was a homemaker and also worked at Shepherd of the Valley as a nurses’ aid. She was of the Protestant faith. Doris was a proud member of the V.F.W. 3307 Auxiliary American Legion Army-Navy Garrison. She enjoyed crocheting, bar bingo, and Facebook, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Her husband, Donald E. Anderson Sr., whom she married June 22, 1981, passed away Nov. 6, 2014.
She will always be remembered lovingly by her nine children, Edward R. Weaver, Rex R. (Marie) Weaver, Oneta W. (Harry) Urbach, John P. Weaver, Karen (Jim) Martin, Patti Anderson, Lynn Guy, Donald E. (Debbie) Anderson Jr., and William Anderson; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Dale (Judy) Douglass; and numerous, loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
