Georges M. El-Chammas, 66
Youngstown – There will be a 10:00 a.m. Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial on Wednesday February 9, 2011 at St. Maron Church, 1555 South Meridian Road, Youngstown for Georges M. El-Chammas who passed away Thursday afternoon February 3, 2011.
Georges was born February 9, 1944 in Beirut, Lebanon, the son of Anis and Marie (Rwaysi) El-Chammas.
He was formerly employed at the Ministry of Agriculture Green Plan Division in Lebanon.
Georges will always be remembered by his wife, Wadad El-Chammas whom he married September 9, 1979; his three sons, Hadi (Nicole) El-Chammas of Poland, Nahi El-Chammas of Lebanon and Rami El-Chammas at home; eight brothers and sisters, Georgette, Najat, Kamal, Rajaa, Aida, Tony, Leyla and Rosie.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John El-Chammas.
Friends may call from 4 to 7pm on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman where an Incense Service will be held at 6 p.m. Friends may call again on Wednesday February 9, 2011 from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at St. Maron Church.
