Boardman - William Robert Elicson passed away on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018.
William was the youngest of three sons, born July 21, 1931 to John and Anna (Gonos) Elicson.
He was a life long resident of Youngstown, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School then receiving a Civil Engineering degree from Youngstown State University.
William actively served in the Korean Conflict from 1952 to 1954, after which he started a family and a long-lived career with Boardman Steel.
William leaves behind four sons, Bill, John, Tom, and Michael; a daughter Marissa; and seven grandchildren.
William was, above all, a loving and caring person who will be deeply missed by all.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman where funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m.
