SALEM – William Diciero, 85, passed away on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018.
He was born March 4, 1933, in Youngstown, the son of William F. and Mary (Barone) Diciero.
He was a graduate of East High School and Youngstown College, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Special Education.
Bill retired from Leonard Kirtz School, and then became a private tutor. He was an avid coin collector, fisherman, and enjoyed traveling with his wife.
Bill will always be remembered lovingly by his sister, Lucille Nitowski, two nieces and three nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Willanna Bartley, whom he married in 1971, and who passed away Nov. 4, 2015; and sister Donna L. Gioglio.
There will be funeral services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman, when friends may call one hour prior from 10 a.m. until time of the services at the funeral home.
