Obituary for Alan Davies

YOUNGSTOWN — Alan Davies, 65, passed away on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018.
He was born April 24, 1953, in Youngstown, the son of Jenkin Davies and Goldie (Mitchell) Keyser.
He was a 1970 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School.
Alan retired in 2001 after 30 years with Delphi Packard Electric. He also owned and operated for more than 30 years House Calls Tax Preparation Services. Alan traveled the United States and the world in pursuit of his love for rollercoasters. He was a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers, American Coaster Enthusiasts, Dark Attraction and Fun House Enthusiasts, NAPHA, and the Greater Ohio Coaster Club. He was an avid reader and collector of music.
Alan will always be remembered lovingly by his two sons, Nicholas (Shelley) Davies and Ryan Davies; five grandchildren, Olivia, Trevor, Hunter, Maddox, and Ashley; his dad, Jenkin; sister Darlene Davies; two brothers, Jeffrey (Roberta) Davies and Robert Keyser; two nephews, Todd and Zach Davies; and his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Goldie; stepmother Betty Wilmoth; and two grandsons, Brendan Patrick Davies and Alexander James Webber.
Friends may call on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman followed by a 7 p.m. service.
