CAMPBELL — There will be funeral services at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at Sta. Rosa de Lima Church in Campbell for Longina Mulero 97, who passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Longina was born Sept. 10, 1920, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Fermin and Guillermina (Dominguez) Rosario.
She was a homemaker and a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at Sta. Rosa de Lima Church.
Longina was a seamstress and crocheted. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed gardening and loved listening to music.
Her husband, Pablo Mulero whom she married Aug. 30, 1943, passed away Feb. 8, 1998.
Longina will always be remembered lovingly by her two daughters, Mary (Felipe) Gonzalez and Ruby Mulero; five grandchildren, Madeline (Roscoe) Woodberry, Felipe (Rachael) Gonzalez, Leela (Alberto) Pizarro, Jennifer (Blaise) Malandra, and Paul Kenney III; 11 great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Alysa, Roscoe, Marcello, Jaslene, Gabriella, Alexandra, Soeli, Mason, Karson and Paul IV; and four siblings, Juan, Maximina, Paublita, and Alejandro.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Milagros Mulero; granddaughter Adriana Gonzalez; son-in-law Paul Kenney Jr.; and three siblings, Ciprian, Jesus, and Juan Bautista.
Friends may call from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman, followed by a 5:30 p.m. prayer service.
