Obituary for Claude L. Bishop

POLAND – There will be funeral services held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home for Claude L. Bishop, 92, who passed away early Wednesday morning, Aug. 1.
Claude was born Oct. 22, 1925, in Poland, the son of Ennis and Bertha (Hively) Bishop.
He worked as a pipefitter for Youngstown Sheet and Tube for 40 years. He attended the Poland United Methodist Church. Claude loved to bicycle around town and his roses. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and Ohio State fan.
Claude will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Norma Willock, whom he married May 2, 1952; a daughter, Claudia (Clyde) Shufran; two sons, Earl and Allan Bishop; three grandchildren, Carrie (Damon Alire) Shufran, Stephen (Krisha) Shufran, and Bethany (Nathan) Dudley; two great-grandsons, Odin and Arlo Dudley; his brother, Donald Bishop; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Henrietta Chrislip and Martha Kerr; and three brothers, Bruce, Paul, and Robert Sr. Bishop.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., in Boardman.
