Obituary for William Joseph "Joe" Leonard

William Joseph "Joe"  Leonard
GIRARD - There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman for William Joseph “Joe” Leonard, 57, who passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.
Joe was born Feb. 9, 1961, in Youngstown, the son of William J. and Helen I. (Weber) Leonard.
He was a graduate of Ursuline High School and worked as a dealer at Mountaineer Casino. Joe played baseball in high school and was an avid golfer and bocce player. He was a Cleveland Browns, Cavs and Indians fan as well as an Arizona Cardinals fan.
Joe will always be remembered lovingly by his mother, Helen; three sons, Tyler, Trevor, and Trace Leonard and their mother, Debbie Valley; 10 siblings, Mary Ann (Marty) Kanetsky, Colleen Schmitt, Karen (David) Thigpen, Nancy Orlando, Susan (Chris) Crowe, Michael Leonard, Timothy Leonard, Edward (Christine) Leonard, Dennis Leonard, and Patricia (Mark) Brewer; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and brother-in-law, Anthony Orlando. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to those at the Reserve Run Golf Course and St. Elizabeth Boardman who came to Joe’s immediate aid.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
