Salem--There will be funeral services at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, for Kyle M. Saunders, 81, who passed away on Sun. June 3, 2018. He was born February 21, 1937 in Jenkins Jones, West Virginia, the son of John and Oreta (Belcher) Saunders. Kyle retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. He was a very good softball player, winning many trophies and medals. He traveled across the country to play in tournaments especially in Florida where he spent the winters. In his spare time, he umpired baseball. Kyle was a great husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a Mason with the Perry Lodge No. 185 in Salem. Kyle will always be remembered lovingly by his wife, the former Ramona Rosado, whom he married December 24, 1975; three children, Kyle M. Saunders II, Lisa Saunders, and Renaldo (Wanda) Saunders; 12 grandchildren, Kyle D, Jovanni, Joseph, Perez, Tyler, Samantha, Zachary, Juan Jr., Kylie, Daniel, Jarrod, and Keith; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and brother, John Saunders. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
