Obituary for Fredrick Pagan

Struthers—There will be funeral services at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Angela Merici Church in Youngstown with the Rev. Kevin Peters celebrating the Mass for Fredrick Pagan, 71, who passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 29, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 11, 1946, in Pulaski, Virginia, the son of Gilbert and Viola (Andrews) Pagan. Fredrick courageously served his country in the U.S. Navy as an E5 Radarman on board the USS Iwo Jima. He served four tours in Vietnam and was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with five bronze stars. Fredrick worked for Campbell Sheet and Tube, Warren Republic, and Huntington Bank. He will always be remembered lovingly by his wife, the former Jacqueline Milano, whom he married January 19, 1974; two children, Danielle (Blake) Springer and Joshua (Carolyn) Pagan; four grandchildren, Lindsey and Gretchen Springer, and Carter Daniel and Zoey Pagan; two sisters, Shirley Hodge, and Betty Jo Hollarn; and brother, Ambrose Pagan. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Glenna Gastaldo; and brother, John Pagan. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeal Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
