Obituary for Eva Landolfi

Eva Landolfi, 93, passed away peacefully, Friday, May 18, 2018. She was born September 30, 1924, in Youngstown, the daughter of Sam and Olga (Raptea) Manos. She was a 1943 graduate of East High School. Eva worked at her father’s bakery in the 1930’s and then went on to work for Federal Wholesale and McKelvey’s and was also a homemaker. Her husband, Paul Landolfi whom she married May 27, 1951, passed away March 13, 2009. She was a member of St. John Greek Orthodox Church and the St. John Philoptochos and Seniors Society. She enjoyed sewing, collecting cookbooks, and traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and having cookouts. Eva will always be remembered lovingly by two children, Lissa (Dan) Oslin, with whom she made her home, and Greg (Darlene) Landolfi; five grandchildren, Spencer and Lucas Oslin, Carlie (Paul) Sohayda, Terra Donnelly, and Gregory L. Landolfi, and three great-grandchildren, Cole and Eva Sohayda, and Keaton Donnelly. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Manos and Antoinette “Toni” Paras; and two brothers, Peter Manos and Judge Nicholas Manos. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, followed by a 6 p.m. memorial service at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
