Obituary for Mary E. DeVico
YOUNGSTOWN – Private services were held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown, for Mary E. DeVico, 88, who passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 8, 2018.
She was born Aug. 14, 1929, in Campbell, the daughter of John and Susan (Szekely) Nemeth.
Mary was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was a homemaker. She was a charter member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and its Altar Rosary Society.
Her husband, Alfonso J. DeVico whom she married Nov. 27, 1948, passed away Oct. 24, 2002
Mary will always be remembered lovingly by her three children, Frank J. (Lynn) DeVico of Florida, Richard (Joan) DeVico of Austintown, and Nancy (Mike) Stredni of Boardman; four grandchildren, Deena (Matthew Vansuch) DeVico, Joe (Lindsay) DeVico, Michael (Becky) Stredni, and Lisa Stredni; five great-grandchildren, Alexander, Ethan and Elliot Vansuch, and Alexa and Madison Stredni; sister-in-law, Irene Nemeth of Youngstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John (Agnes Johnson) Nemeth and George Nemeth; four sisters, Irene (Frank) Pipoly, Margaret (John) Matzye, Betty (Albert) DeGenova, and Delores (Robert) Gambrel.
Arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
