There will be funeral services at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio celebrating the Mass for Margaret F. Zack, 91, who passed away peacefully Thursday evening, March 29, 2018. She was born Nov. 12, 1926, in Grove City, PA, the daughter of Frank and Betty (Mittiga) Spatara. Margaret was a gradute of Grove City HIgh School and was self-employed as a seamstress. She also owned an antique shop in Sharon, PA for many years. Her husband Joseph Zack, passed away July 10, 2008. Margaret was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, where she was lector and a member of the Mother's of the Crucifix Society. She also administered prayers to the sick at hospitals and nursing homes. In her spare time, she enjoyed antiques with her sister Mary and cooking holiday meals. She will always be remembered lovingly by her brother, Joseph (Susanna) Spatara of Harrison City, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary and Teresa; and four brothers, Dominic, Tony, Jim, and Frank. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman. The Mother's of the Crucifix Society will conduct a prayer service at 4:45 p.m. prior to the calling hours.
