Obituary for Anna M. Bruno
There will be funeral services at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica in Youngstown with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio celebrating the Mass for Anna M. Bruno, 75, who passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018. She was born March 4, 1943 in Calabria, Italy, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Siciliano. Anna retired from Giant Eagle as a deli clerk and was also a self-employed seamstress for over 50 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica. Anna loved her flowers, working in her yard, and cooking homemade meals from scratch, but her greatest joy was spending time with her son, granddaughter, and great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered lovingly by her son, Tony Joe (Carole) Romeo of Youngstown; granddaughter, Nickole (Kevin) Snyder of Boardman; three great-grandchildren, Maria and Domanik Jones, and Makala Snyder; brother, Joseph Siciliano of Calabria, Italy; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Mary Jones Romeo; and two sisters. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
