Private services were held for Marian E. Whitling, 94, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018. She was born Oct. 21, 1923, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Howard and Clara (Steocker) Campbell. Marian was a homemaker. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and bowling. She also spent time volunteering with the American Cancer Society. She will always be remembered lovingly by her daughter, Judith (Hubert) Whitling-Radtke of Boardman; son, Mark (Betty) Whitling of Georgia; six grandchildren, Frank (Susan) Ranelli, Stephen( Cathleen "C.J.") Ranelli, Amy (Jason) Mericle, Ron (Erin) Whitling, Kelly (David) Linton, and Scott (Jill) Whitling; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert G. Whitling; two sons, Ronald W. and Robert D. Whitling; and seven brothers and sisters. There are no calling hours.
