Karen E.  Fusco
Karen E. Fusco, 77, passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Oct. 22, 1940, in Youngstown, the daughter of Michael and Johanna (Klein) Martin. Karen was a 1958 graduate of Chaney High School. She worked for OBES South Office, Kroger Foods Deli Department in Austintown and retired after 15 years from Youngstown Propane in accounts payable. Karen was a loving and caring person who always had a smile on her face. She was a wonderful wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was always there to help anyone in need and her home was open to everyone. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the casino playing slot machines. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and a member of a card club with girls from her neighborhood since sixth grade. Karen will always be remembered lovingly by her husband, Frank R. Fusco, whom she married June 4, 1960; three children, Michael Fusco of Palm Harbor, FL, Jodie Fusco and Susan Fusco, both of Austintown; sister, Rita (Jim) Bova of Seminole, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4490 Norquest Blvd. in Austintown. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests monetary donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
