It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Falconi Jr. He was born in Youngstown on November 23, 1950, a son of the late Joseph Falconi and Ruth Montella Falconi Eddy. He attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School and St. Christine Elementary School. Joseph was a graduate of Ursuline High School, Youngstown State University, and the University of Akron School of Law. As a tax attorney, Joseph held many positions in the Cleveland area. Joseph enjoyed volunteering at the Middlefield Grange. He was a car enthusiast, and was on the board of the condo association where he resided. He was also an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Indians fan. He leaves one son, Joseph R. Falconi III and his former wife Jacquelyn DeThorne. He also leaves to mourn his passing three sisters and one brother: David Falconi (Karen), Judith Magielski (Joseph), Nancy Sinchak (George), and Mary Zirkel (James). He also leaves many nieces and nephews to cherish his memory. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Francis Eddy. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman.
