YOUNGSTOWN ­ There will be funeral services held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Edward Church in Youngstown with the Very Rev. Msgr. Robert J. Siffrin celebrating the Mass for Irene C. Bugno, 85, who passed away Friday morning Dec. 8. Irene was born Feb. 1, 1932, in Youngstown, the daughter of Peter and Mary (Hovanech) Yurich. Irene was a member of St. Edward Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and painting illustration art. Her husband Edward Bugno, whom she married Feb. 6, 1953, passed away May 11, 2013. Irene will always be remembered lovingly by her three sons, Christopher (Elizabeth) Bugno of Struthers, Matthew Bugno of Youngstown, and Joshua Bugno of Youngstown; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister Delores Yurich; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Besides her husband and parents, Irene was preceded in death by a son, Robert Jerome Bugno; and two daughters, Kaira Shoup and Brenda Budd.
Friends may call on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman.
