Obituary for Dorothy E. Agnone Mszanski

Dorothy E. Agnone Mszanski
CAMPBELL – There will be funeral services at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Church for Dorothy E. Agnone Mszanski, 62, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017.
Dorothy was born Nov. 1, 1955 in Youngstown, the daughter of Carl D. and Josephine M. (Delili) Agnone.
She retired from WCI Steel in Warren, where she worked as a crane director. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, where she was active in the Prayer Pyramid.
Dorothy had many things that she loved, and her family was always the top priority. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her husband, kids, grandkids, sisters and her many nieces and nephews.
When her children were young, you could find her on the sidelines of any sports they played, whether it was coaching them or cheering them on. She was also the PTA president for their school, growing up for many years.
After she retired, she put her time in volunteering and working different events such as bingo, American Legion Post events, and as precinct committee woman for the 4th Ward election polls. If you couldn’t find her volunteering at one of these places, you would find her watching Grey’s Anatomy in her favorite chair or doing crossword puzzles.
She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and cook. Her proudest moments were when she became an aunt, mother and grandmother. She was always proud and showing people pictures of her kids and grandkids.
Her house and her door were always open to anyone who needed her help.
Dorothy will be remembered lovingly by her husband, James, who she married Sept. 8, 1975; her three children, Joseph (Lorraine) Mszanski of Pittsburgh, Janice (Tony) Caruso of Youngstown and James Mszanski Jr. of Baltimore; grandchildren Andrew, Jameson, and Michael Mszanski, Joshua, and Isabella Cotelesse, and Haley, Mackenzie, and Kristofer Caruso; sisters Carla (Antonio Sciarra) Nickle and Charlene Chapman; the Agnone family, William (Linda) Agnone and Victor Agnone; the Delili family, Carol Delili, Janice Lydic, and Geraldine LaRiccia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister, Andrea (Michael) Tobias, and niece Dawn Elle.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman. I
n lieu of flowers, the family requests any contributions be made to the family to donate to Dorothy’s favorite charities.
