Courtney Ann Turner, 27, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017. She was born July 12, 1990, in Cleveland, the daughter of Thomas J. and Elizabeth (Black) Turner. She was a 2008 graduate of Perrysburg High School and attended Y.S.U. studying social work. Courtney always had a calling to help others; she was vibrant, creative and caring; when she smiled, the whole world was brighter. Words cannot express how much we love and will miss her. She will always be remembered lovingly by her mother of Boardman, father of Toledo; two sisters, Stacey Turner and Hayley Turner, both of Toledo; nephew, Liam Whitaker; paternal grandmother, Kathleen Turner of Columbus; maternal grandmother, Barbara Black of Boardman; uncle, David Turner; aunt, Kris Black; uncle and aunt, Robert and Patricia Jender; cousins, Michael Jender, Sarah Holley, Matthew Jender, Rachel Jender, Christopher Black, and Zoe Beard, whom she thought of as a little sister; numerous relatives and close friends; and her boyfriend, Pat Blakeman. She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Thomas J. Turner Sr. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman. Courtney loved children and was recently considering adopting.
