Obituary for Ann R. (Williott) Brown

Ann R. (Williott) Brown, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 15, 1924 in Youngstown, the daughter of Louis and Mary (Vigliotti) Williott. Ann was a 1942 graduate of East High School and worked for SH Kress Company. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica/St. Anthony of Padua Church. Ann was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Her husband, Thomas S. Brown whom she married August 23, 1952, passed away January 1999. Ann will always be remembered lovingly by her daughter, Linda Ann Brown of Youngstown; two brothers, Frank (Jenny) Williott of Sharon, and Tony (Helen) Williott of Youngstown; sister, Helen DiTullio of Youngstown; sister-in-law, Margie Brown of Struthers; and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Patti Ann Brown; and three sisters, Elena Williott, Grace Williott, and Rose Iacconi. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1125 Turin Avenue in Youngstown, followed by an 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Michael Swierz celebrating. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Liberty Arms Assisted Living, Liberty Healthcare, and Hospice of the Valley for the kind and compassionate care shown to Ann.
