BOARDMAN - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Peter M. Polando celebrating the Mass for Marie Colucci, 92, who passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2017.
She was born Dec. 23, 1924, in Niles, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Martin) Zuzolo.
Marie was a 1942 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and worked for Stanley Works and Carlisle’s. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Niles, president of the Infant of Prague Guild, a member of Ladies Knights of Columbus and Niles Scope.
Her husband, Gregory Colucci, whom she married Sept. 17, 1955, passed away Oct. 17, 2006.
Marie will always be remembered lovingly by her daughter, Martha Ferenchak; grandson Gregory Ferenchak; nieces and nephews; and her dogs, Bella and Bella.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by grandson Michael Ferenchak; and two brothers, John and Nick Zuzolo.
Friends may call on Thursday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at St. Columba Cathedral, prior to the Mass.
Martha and Greg would like to give special thanks to Dorothy, Michelle and Vicki for the wonderful care given to Marie.
