He enjoyed playing bocce and golf, and was proud of his Italian heritage. He was a member and longtime officer of the Pacentrano Club.

Joe will be remembered lovin gly by his wife, Amy (Colaprete) DeSantis, whom he married July 20, 2007; twins Quintino and Giada; family members Dominic “Duke” and Kathy Colaprete, Frank and Jessica Colaprete, Anne Marie and Wally Hurdley, Dominic and Adianna Colparete, and Walter, Carmella, and Francesca Hurdley; his parents; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, whom he loved dearly.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
The family wishes to thank and offer their appreciation to those who were by Joe’s side during his final days; his cousin, Anita Carano, with whom he shared a special bond, Tom and Tracie Nicholudis, Tony and Michelle Delfre, Tony and Marla Fusillo, Steve Beshara, Chris Kosiorek, and Ron Defabio.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions be made to the family for a fund set up for his children.
