YOUNGSTOWN – George V. Kondas Jr., 34, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016.
He was born Aug. 24, 1982, in Youngstown, the son of George V. Sr. and Marsha (Davanzo) Kondas.
He was a 2001 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and then went on to graduate from New Castle School of Trades, where he earned his degree in Electrical Maintenance.
He was a self-employed remodeling contractor.
George had a big heart and loved to laugh. He enjoyed watching wrestling and spending time with family and friends.
He will always be remembered lovingly by his parents; sister Kristy Kondas; five aunts, Rita (Ronald) Palowitz, Janet Davanzo, Lori Davanzo, Anita (Mickey) Milisich, and Andrea (Ken) Yeaton; uncle Raymond (Christine) Kondas; and many loving cousins.
He was preceded in death by four uncles, Michael and Carmen Davanzo, and John Jr. and Larry Kondas; maternal grandparents, Mary and Frank Davanzo; and paternal grandparents, Ann and John Kondas.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Nov. 17, at St. Joseph Church, 4545 New Road in Austintown, followed by a noon Mass of Christian Burial, with the Rev. Gregory Fedor celebrating the life of George.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
