Obituary for Charliene A. Ungaro Vinion

GIRARD ­ There will be a 9 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica in Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio Jr. celebrating the Mass, for Charliene A. Vinion, 69, who passed away from a brief battle with cancer.
Charliene was born April 2, 1947, in Youngstown, the daughter of Victor and Mary (Mast) Ungaro.
Charliene was a great artist and homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking.
She loved to entertain at her home, where everyone was welcomed. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren whom she adored. She enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, and being at the Tiki bar by their pool.
Besides her husband, Samuel E. Vinion, whom she married Aug. 4, 1975, she will be remembered lovingly by her two daughters, Lisa Kavanagh of Liberty and Mary (Michael) Kushner of Poland; four grandchildren, Mickey, Aidan, Tommy, and Kristina; and a brother, Patrick J. (Theresa) Ungaro of Liberty.
There will be calling hours on Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
