Ralph M. Tesone, 94

New Middletown - There will be funeral services at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica in Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio Jr., celebrating the Mass for Ralph M. Tesone, 94, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.
Ralph was born Feb. 11, 1922, in Pietrabondante, Campobasso, Italy, the son of Fiore and Giovanina Tesone.
He retired as a coremaker from Wean United. Ralph was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica. He had a passion for cooking and wine making. He was an excellent cook and was known for many of his Italian specialties, especially his homemade cavatelli.
His wife, Helen (D’Aloise), whom he married Jan. 31, 1948, passed away May 1, 1999.
Ralph will always be lovingly remembered by his three children, Beatrice (Paul) Kiefer of Poland, Joanne Marlowe of North Carolina, and Anthony (Aileen) Tesone of Maryville, with whom he resided the past four years. He will also be missed dearly by his five grandchildren, Kelly (David) Massare, Daniel (Angela) Marlowe, Brittany (Anthony) Pasquale, Anthony (Kristen) Tesone Jr., and Alyssa Tesone; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Sienna and Dominic; and brother Ruggieri Tesone.
Besides his parents and wife, Ralph was preceded in death by two brothers, Guido and Anthony Tesone.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., today, Feb. 17, 2016, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Masternick Memorial, especially Amy, Chris and Devra for the kind and compassionate care shown to Ralph for the past six months.
