Marlynn L. James, 73

Boardman – Marlynn L. James, 73, passed away peacefully Friday morning, January 15, 2016, with her loving son by her side. Marlynn was born November 30, 1942 in Youngstown. She worked in medical billing until her retirement. Marlynn was a member of Boardman United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She loved attending their school and sporting events. Marlynn will forever be remembered lovingly by her son, Bill James of Boardman; and 2 grandchildren, Kailee and Reed James. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William R. James. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman, followed by a 6 p.m. service at the funeral home. The James family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at the Hospice House for the kind and compassionate care shown to Marlynn.
