Celia Esposito, 99

BOARDMAN – Celia Esposito, 99, passed away peacefully Friday evening, Nov. 20, 2015, with her family by her side.
Celia was born Dec. 3, 1915, in Naples, Italy, the daughter of Lawrence and Mary (Perroni) Broccolino.
Celia was a homemaker and a member of Christ Our Savior Parish (St. Nicholas Church), its Infant Jesus of Prague and Altar and Rosary Society and Senior Citizens No. 2162.
Her husband, Joseph S. Esposito, whom she married Sept. 20, 1941, passed away Feb. 22, 1991.
Celia will always be remembered lovingly by her daughter, Mary Ann (Patrick) Russo of Boardman; her son, Joseph D. (Kathleen) Esposito of Poland; three grandchildren, Ben Esposito, Mark Russo, and Elizabeth (Matthew) Bodine; three great-grandchildren, Gavin Esposito, and Preslie and Vander Bodine; a sister, Mary Horanstein of Staten Island, N.Y.; and two brothers, Dominic Broccolino of Staten Island, N.Y., and Ted Broccolino of Boardman.
Besides her husband and parents, Celia was preceded in death by her sister, Filomena Broccolino.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
There will be a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers with the Rev. Bon Bonnot celebrating the Mass for Celia. Everyone attending are asked to meet directly at the church.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to Dr. Demidovich, the staff at The Greenbriar, and All Care Hospice for the wonderful and compassionate care.
