Delores I. Vona, 87


Boardman– There will be a funeral service at noon on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman for Delores I. Vona, 87, who passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015. Delores was born October 25, 1928 in Youngstown, the daughter of Charles and Helen (Nagy) Keleman. Delores was a homemaker and a member of St. Stephen of Hungary Church. She enjoyed shopping and taking trips to Mountaineer and Las Vegas. Delores will always be lovingly remembered by her son, Sam Jr. (Jo Ann) Vona of Struthers; two grandchildren, Hollie (Darren) Goodin of Poland, and Sam Vona III (fiancée Sylvia) of Florida; seven great grandchildren, Samantha Vona, Geena, Giana, Briana and Mia Musolino, and Mackenzie and Darren Goodin; two brothers, Charles and Richard Keleman of Youngstown; sister, Donna Smith of Struthers; many loving nieces and nephews; and special caretaker and good friend, Letha Gibson. Besides her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Milick. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 4 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman.
