Mary N. Quaranta, 85
Boardman – Mary N. Quaranta, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, April 27, 2013. Mary was born March 25, 1928 in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Henrietta Cumbo. Mary was a wonderful homemaker, cooking Sunday dinners for her family. She cherished her time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary also enjoyed traveling. Her husband, Leander Quaranta, whom she married June 30, 1951, passed away May 29, 2006. Mary will always be loved and remembered by her three children, Joe (Mary Jane) Quaranta, Jerry R. Quaranta, and Anna M. Quaranta, all of Boardman; four grandchildren, Jerry J. Quaranta, Katie Quaranta, Sarah (Mike) Ress, and Christina (Bill) Duritza; and six great grandchildren, Jerry, Kamryn, Tony, Nathan, Melina, and Giovanni. Besides her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman. There will be a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Church with Rev. Philip Rogers celebrating the mass for Mary. Friends may call again on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. prior to mass at the church.
