Frank Yerrace, 79

SAGAMORE HILLS – There will be a funeral service at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers with Rev. Bernard Gaeta celebrating the Mass, for Frank Yerrace, 79, formerly of Struthers, who passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012.
Frank was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Youngstown, the son of Dominic and Mary (Raymond) Ierace.
He had retired from Republic Steel as a Foreman and was employed for several years with the Grounds Crew at Mill Creek Golf Course.
Frank loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching local sports and going to The Ohio State football games.
Frank will always be remembered by his loving wife, the former Margaret “Peggy” Vasko, whom he married Oct. 23, 1954; three children, Lori A. Yerrace of Youngstown, Frank D. (Renee) Yerrace of Woodinville, Wash. and Lisa M. (Mark Kasunic) Yerrace of Sagamore Hills; four grandchildren, Jack Waite, Nick Waite, Sarah Yerrace and Frank D. Yerrace Jr.; five nieces, Paulette Chearno, Donna Casey, Tina Timko, Georgann Donadee, and Carol Yerrace; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred Yerrace, Michael Ierace, Nick Yerrace, and Sam Ierace; a sister, Maria (Yerrace) Gourlas; and a niece, Betsy Rogers.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
