Audrey Lou DiFrangia Iaquinto, 70
YOUNGSTOWN – There will be a memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for Audrey Lou DiFrangia Iaquinto, 70, who passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13.
She was born Oct. 31, 1941, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Lucille (Piolata) DiFrangia.
Audrey graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and began teaching in various schools in the area. She spent many years at St. Anthony School in Brier Hill becoming very involved with the Parish. While there she became the first female lector. Audrey enjoyed teaching, baking, cooking and traveling.
Audrey will always be remembered by her husband, Samuel Iaquinto, whom she married Sept. 7, 1968; a daughter, Marsia (Don) Ronyak of Denver; a son, John (Anna Granqvist) Iaquinto of Barcelona, Spain; four grandchildren, Max, Elliot, Ian and Everett Ronyak; and two beloved aunts, Mitzi Malvasi and Mary Grosshandler and their families.
Friends may call on Thursday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
The family would like to thank the team of doctors at Case Western Reserve University Hospital, as well as the exceptional staff at Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Valley.
